Good to Know
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I purchase a piece?
Add pieces you're interested in to your cart, then send your selection to us via WhatsApp or the request form on the cart page. Our team will confirm final pricing, availability, and payment details with you directly — we don't process payments on the site itself.
How long does a custom commission take?
Most hand-painted pieces take two to twelve weeks depending on size and intricacy. When you submit a custom Pichwai request or discuss a commission with us, we'll confirm a specific timeline for your piece before work begins.
Can I return a piece?
Custom-commissioned pieces generally can't be returned once painting has started, since each is made specifically for you. Ready-made pieces can be flagged within 48 hours of delivery if there's damage or a significant issue — see our Shipping & Returns page for details.
Do you ship outside India?
Reach out to us with your location and we'll confirm shipping options, timelines, and costs for your specific order.
Is every piece genuinely hand-painted?
Yes. Every painting is hand-painted using traditional Nathdwara technique with natural pigments, and ships with a certificate of authenticity.
Can I request a custom size or colour palette?
Yes — that's exactly what our Custom Pichwai request is for. Share reference images and a description of what you have in mind, and our artisans will work with you on a bespoke piece.
How do I care for a Pichwai painting?
Keep it out of direct sunlight and humidity, and dust gently with a soft, dry brush. Avoid folding or rolling the piece tightly, as this can damage the paint layer over time.
